Missy Elliott Inducted Into Songwriters Hall of Fame

Missy Elliott has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Her nomination was initially announced again in November 2018. Other artists amongst this yr’s spherical of inductees embody John Prine, producer Dallas Austin (Brandy & Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine,” TLC’s “Creep”), Yusuf / Cat Stevens, Jack Tempchin, and Tom T. Hall. The induction ceremony will happen June 13 on the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
