Mina the Hollower Adventure Won’t Be Released on October 31
Yacht Club Games announced that Mina the Hollower will not launch on its previously scheduled date of October 31, 2025. The studio confirmed the delay, explaining that it requires extra time for final polish and balance adjustments.
The development team explained that, although the game is nearly finished, a short postponement is necessary to meet the studio’s quality standards.
“This isn’t a major delay — just a bit more time for final polishing and balancing so the game can truly shine.”
The developers added that while a full playthrough is possible, they still need to refine the design, visuals, audio, and overall balance before release.
Yacht Club Games noted they will not announce a new release date until the title has been officially submitted for platform certification.
Mina the Hollower drew attention for its retro aesthetic and gameplay inspired by classics like The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Castlevania. Set in a gothic world full of secrets, players control Mina, an inventor wielding a whip who embarks on a dangerous journey to restore the power of a cursed island.
The release was originally planned for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
