The clock is officially ticking for Klay Thompson. Megan Thee Stallion has signaled that she is ready to trade her “Hot Girl Summer” title for a wedding band, revealing to a group of Olympic stars in Milan that she is actively “manifesting” a marriage proposal.
In a fresh installment of her Winter Olympics vlog series, uploaded to her YouTube channel on Monday (Feb. 23), the Grammy-winning artist sat down for coffee with Team USA icons Brittany Bowe and Hilary Knight. After congratulating the newly engaged couple, Megan couldn’t help but express her admiration for their milestone. “I heard y’all just got engaged, congrats! I love love, that’s so sweet,” she beamed during their outing in Italy.
Watching the heartwarming footage of Knight proposing to Bowe just before the Winter Games concluded on Feb. 22, the “Hiss” rapper crossed her fingers, adding with a smile, “Manifesting my engagement, too.”
The Houston hitmaker has been romantically linked to the Dallas Mavericks star since early last year. The pair confirmed their status with a high-profile red carpet debut in July, following months of cryptic social media interactions. Since then, the couple has been anything but shy about their affection. Megan has frequently documented their date nights for her fans and even dedicated her November single, “Lover Girl,” to the NBA player—a track that successfully climbed to No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Speaking with People in a recent interview, Megan reflected on how her relationship with Thompson blossomed during a period of intense personal growth. “I didn’t even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest,” she admitted, noting that she wasn’t actively searching for a partner at the time.
“I think that because finally I started being in a better mind space about myself and my life, and I had already been doing a lot of work to heal me,” she explained. “Maybe God just opened up that space for me to have somebody that loved me right. This is one of the first times that I’ve ever been just overly comfortable.”
