In this month’s Community Update, we’re pulling back the curtain on what to expect for Year 3, revisiting the highlights of the Purgation Update, and reminding you to claim your exclusive Twitch Drops.
A Glimpse into Year 3 👀
The future of the game is looking brighter than ever, and we couldn’t wait to share some early teasers with you.
Year 3 will bring five significant content updates (Patches 15 through 19). True to our commitment, expect a wealth of free content, including fresh missions, new weaponry, and much more. To complement this, we are launching a new Season Pass featuring exclusive Chapter cosmetics and premium Champion skins.
We are also doubling down on our efforts to refine the user experience and squash persistent bugs to ensure the battlefield remains smooth, stable, and highly responsive.
The Big Reveal: A brand-new Class is currently in development, slated for release in the first half of 2027! While we are keeping the identity under wraps for now, we can confirm it is one of the most requested additions by the community. Mirroring our approach with the Techmarine, this class will launch with its own dedicated Champion Skin.

Patch 13: The Purgation Update
The Iron Hands Chapter Pack
The Iron Hands set arrives with a powerful Techmarine Champion and a specialized skin for his signature weapon, the Omnissian Axe. The accompanying Chapter Customisation Pack introduces:
- Left & Right Greaves
- Left & Right Gauntlets
- Left & Right Pauldrons & Decals
Successor Chapters
The update also bolsters your ranks with four new Successor Chapters:
- Brazen Claws
- Iron Lords
- Sons of Medusa
- Red Talons
New Operation: Purgation
Deploy to a Cadian base to neutralize Chaos activity and halt a dark ritual. Navigating the treacherous swamps requires caution—prolonged exposure to the local waters will build up a corruption status effect. Stay alert for environmental hazards, as rising corruption may trigger explosive geysers that require quick reflexes to evade.
Siege Mode Evolution
We’ve introduced several tactical refinements to Siege Mode:
- Weekly Accolades: Earn rewards for consistent service in Siege Mode.
- Expanded Shop: Utilize new tactical assets including Commissars, explosive mines, Tarantula Sentries, and Tech-priests to secure your perimeter and boost resource generation.
- Blessings & Atonements: Customize your combat flow. Every five waves, you may select one of three Blessings, while an Atonement is applied to keep the challenge sharp. You can reroll Atonements using Siege currency.
- New Bosses & Pacing: The Hive Tyrant and Mutalith Vortex Beast now enter the fray. Additionally, the mission timer has been adjusted; once time runs out, the mission continues with significantly intensified enemy pressure rather than ending immediately.
Expanded Gameplay Features

The update introduces several quality-of-life improvements, including the Battle-Barge Battle Simulator, customizable Perk Loadouts, new Ordeals, and Wargear Sharing. We have also added fresh rewards to the Refinement & Redemption shop and introduced the one-handed Bolt Carbine Sidearm.
Hotfix 13.1
We recently deployed a hotfix to resolve connectivity hurdles and streamline the unlock requirements for Wargear Sharing items. Full details are available in the 13.1 patch notes.
