Today, Crystal Dynamics revealed that Marvel’s Avengers shall be delayed by 4 months, whereas Square Enix introduced that the Final Fantasy VII Remake’s PS4 launch date is delayed by a month (although the game isn’t but confirmed for PC, it appears possible after its 12 months of PS4 exclusivity ends).
The meant launch date for Marvel’s Avengers was initially set for the 15th of May, however has now been pushed all the way in which again to the 4th of September.
Crystal Dynamics introduced the dangerous information in a press release on Twitter, saying:
“When we got down to deliver you our imaginative and prescient for Marvel’s Avengers, we dedicated to delivering an authentic story-driven marketing campaign, partaking co-op, and compelling content material for years to come back.
“To that finish, we’ll spend this extra growth time specializing in fine-tuning and sprucing the game to the excessive normal our followers count on and deserve.
“The worldwide teams working on Marvel’s Avengers sincerely appreciate the support you’ve shown us. We thrive on your enthusiasm and feedback and we can’t wait to show you more. We apologise for the delay. We’re confident it’ll be worth the wait.”
Square Enix appear like they’re having some points too, as FFVII’s PS4 debut has been pushed again from the third of March to April 10th – only one week after the discharge of the Resident Evil 3 Remake, and 6 days earlier than Cyberpunk 2077. Yikes.
In a statement posted on Square Enix’s web site, the game’s producer Yoshinori Kitase writes: “We are making this robust determination so as to give ourselves just a few additional weeks to use remaining polish to the game and to ship you with the very best expertise.
“I, on behalf of the whole team, want to apologize to everyone, as I know this means waiting for the game just a little bit longer.”
FFVII is a timed PS4 unique for it’s first 12 months, and we don’t know but if this implies it’ll hit different platforms a month later subsequent 12 months as properly. Last month, Alice O reported the game’s timed exclusivity had a deliberate finish date of the third of March 2021, so if the game does find yourself making its option to PC, it’s a bit extra up within the air as to when that is perhaps.
