Marvel Reportedly Developing Several New Series for Disney+
Marvel Studios is developing several new live-action series for Disney+, according to Puck journalist Julia Alexander, citing her industry sources. While specific details about the projects remain under wraps, Alexander reports that the first announcements could arrive soon.
A likely venue for reveals is New York Comic Con on October 8. On that date, Marvel will host a joint panel featuring its television and animation divisions dedicated to upcoming Disney+ series.

The report follows recent claims from Collider that Marvel plans to reduce its output of expensive live-action shows after Vision Quest. However, that shift involves scaling back rather than abandoning new live-action programming entirely. Any budget cutbacks will also not affect renewals for existing projects, including a third season of Daredevil: Born Again.
At the same time, the studio may lean toward smaller-scale miniseries and specials under the Marvel Spotlight and Marvel Presents banners. Insiders previously reported that Marvel is considering this format for standalone stories centered on individual X-Men characters.
