Maren Morris is offering no olive branches to those who supported Donald Trump. In a searing new video, the Grammy-winning artist voiced her blunt perspective on the former president’s base, and she certainly didn’t pull any punches.

Speaking directly to her audience in a clip shared recently, Morris was unequivocal from the start. “I have no forgiveness for the triple Trumpers—or any of the Trumpers,” she declared.

Addressing voters who may now be questioning their choice as specific policies take effect, Morris was unrelenting. “You did vote for this,” she said. She went on to disparage the president with a string of insults, labeling him “dementia-ridden” and a “bankrupt cornball.” While Morris leveled these accusations, it is worth noting that a physical exam conducted in October resulted in his physician describing his overall health as “excellent.”

The singer-songwriter argued that the electorate had been “bamboozled” by what she described as a “propaganda machine” at Fox News, which she compared to “brainrot” for older generations.

“This is the inevitable outcome of casting your vote for losers,” Morris added, before shifting her aim toward U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth with a biting personal remark. “Pete Hegseth, oh my god… you’re done.”

In the video’s caption, Morris succinctly wrote, “sorry to empty the clip.”

This isn’t the first time Morris has used her platform to challenge the political status quo. Throughout Trump’s tenure and beyond, she has been a fierce advocate against homophobia and anti-trans sentiment. This advocacy famously led to a public feud in 2022 with Brittany Aldean, whom Morris dubbed “Insurrection Barbie” during a dispute over gender-affirming care.

Her disillusionment eventually led her to distance herself from the country music industry in 2023. She previously told the Los Angeles Times that the post-Trump era exposed deep-seated biases within the genre, noting that misogyny and transphobia were being “celebrated” in a way she found irreconcilable.

“I thought I’d like to burn it to the ground and start over,” she remarked at the time. “But it’s burning itself down without my help.”
