On the night of March 13, the downtown Austin scene reached a fever pitch as Cheetos® and Billboard took over the iconic Mohawk venue. The collaboration celebrated the return of Cheetos® Flamin’ Hot® Dill Pickle with an immersive afterparty that fused high-octane live music with bold cultural activations. As the venue reached capacity, it became clear that this was the most sought-after destination in the city’s nightlife circuit.

The atmosphere was electric, defined by a vivid chromatic palette of Flamin’ Hot red and Dill Pickle green neon. Throughout the evening, guests navigated between the curated bar and the pulsating dance floor, where a premier lineup of DJs built a steady momentum leading up to the night’s headline performance.

Just before midnight, the stage was commanded by the powerhouse duo Loud Luxury. Known for their expert curation, they delivered a high-velocity set that blurred the lines between nostalgic throwbacks and modern club anthems. Their penchant for unexpected genre-bending mirrored the bold profile of the Cheetos® Flamin’ Hot® Dill Pickle—a fusion that is as daring as it is satisfying. The crowd remained fully immersed, with the energy in the room escalating with every transition.

A Multi-Sensory Experience

The event extended far beyond the DJ booth. Attendees were treated to a bespoke cocktail menu featuring the Pickle’s Back Margarita, The Dill Shot, the Cheetle Kick, and the Flamin’ Hot Fizz. Between drinks, guests tested their skills at interactive pickle-toss and pop-shot stations while sampling the latest Cheetos® Flamin’ Hot® Dill Pickle Puffs and Crunch varieties.

A major highlight of the evening was the spirited karaoke competition hosted by Billboard’s Tetris Kelly. Participants delivered passionate covers of anthems like “Bye, Bye, Bye” and “Move Along,” leading to massive crowd sing-alongs. The arrival of Chester Cheetah himself at the karaoke booth added a final layer of playful energy to the festivities.
