Nintendo has released an extended seven-minute trailer for Kirby Air Riders. The new title is set to launch on November 20, 2025, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. The video highlights core modes, mini-games, and fresh gameplay footage.
Kirby Air Riders came as a surprise to fans. Riding the momentum from Mario Kart World’s success, Nintendo embraced a racing format — this time placed within Kirby’s bright, whimsical realm. The project looks ambitious, and the recent gameplay snippets suggest Nintendo is positioning it as a major release.
Although the trailer is currently available only in Japanese, it thoroughly demonstrates the mechanics, user interface, and visual details. Near the end, Nintendo unveiled a new series of amiibo figures inspired by the game’s vehicles and characters; these figures will unlock cosmetic items in Kirby Air Riders.
The developers confirmed that a day-one update will accompany the launch. Game director Masahiro Sakurai noted that no DLCs are planned at this time.
