Step aside, traditional academics—there’s a new guest lecturer in town. JoJo Siwa recently traded the stage for the podium, revealing on Thursday (Feb. 12) that she delivered a presentation to a cohort at Harvard Business School. The multi-talented star described the academic engagement as “perhaps the most significant milestone” of her professional life.
Documenting the visit on Instagram with a series of snapshots from the historic Ivy League campus, the dancer and entrepreneur spoke about the “immense honor” of addressing the class. Alongside her partners from the gut-health brand Belli Welli, Siwa engaged with a room she described as being filled with “visionary thinkers, dedicated entrepreneurs, and the leaders of tomorrow.”
“I feel incredibly privileged to have had this opportunity,” Siwa shared with her followers. “It was a surreal experience. Moments like these serve as a powerful reminder of why I am so dedicated to my craft. They highlight the importance of showing up, remaining a student of life, and constantly pushing forward.”
The 21-year-old was clearly moved by the invitation, noting that speaking at Harvard is a career peak that is “hard to top.” Supporting her account, Belli Welli posted footage showing Siwa fully immersed in the classroom environment, even taking a moment to write on the lecture hall chalkboard.
This academic “side quest” comes on the heels of a health scare Siwa faced toward the conclusion of 2024. Just before a scheduled performance in Minnesota, the Dance Moms alumna was rushed to the hospital due to a ruptured cyst. However, her recent activity suggests a full recovery; prior to her Harvard appearance, she shared glimpses of a getaway to Palm Springs with her boyfriend, Big Brother alum Chris Hughes.
On the creative front, Siwa continues to expand her discography. In November, she released her latest track, “Message to the World (Little Drummer Girl),” following the October debut of “Waste of a Heartbreak.”
