Jason Kelce Reflects on Family Bonds and Taylor Swift’s Professional Brilliance

Jason Kelce is keeping things strictly personal when it comes to his future sister-in-law. In a candid conversation with the Wall Street Journal regarding his investment in the condiment brand Hank Sauce, the retired NFL icon and current Monday Night Football analyst explained why he avoids discussing business with Taylor Swift.
“We make a conscious effort to keep those professional elements out of our relationship,” Jason shared. “I truly value her simply being my brother’s future wife and a loving aunt to my children. We try to ensure our bond remains focused on family.”
That family dynamic has already been on full display. Swift was recently spotted in “aunt mode” during a Kansas City Chiefs game, spending time with Jason and Kylie Kelce’s four daughters: Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and infant Finnley.
While business talk is off the table, Jason doesn’t hold back his admiration for Swift’s industry-shaking strategic moves. He highlighted her executive savvy in reclaiming her master recordings and her remarkable ability to manage a record-breaking global tour while simultaneously penning a new album. “Watching her take command of so many different facets of her career while still trusting experts in their fields is incredibly impressive to witness,” he noted.
As anticipation builds for the wedding between Travis Kelce and the pop superstar, Jason reflected on his own maturation as a wedding guest. Admitting to a colorful past that included attending ceremonies in graphic tees or occasionally losing his shirt on the dance floor, he suggests he might be turning over a new leaf.
“I’ve evolved quite a bit since my own wedding,” Jason joked. He famously met Swift for the first time in a high-energy moment at a Buffalo Bills game, where he leaped from a suite shirtless—a move that hasn’t stopped the “Anti-Hero” singer from inviting the family back to future events. “We’ll have to see if the shirt stays on this time. I have a feeling Kylie would be pretty upset if it didn’t.”
