It’s Afraid: Activision Promises the Most Content‑Rich Year in Black Ops History
Players are joking that, after the success of Battlefield 6, Call of Duty’s developers may finally start putting the community first.
Activision has proudly stated that Black Ops 7 will arrive with a vast amount of content and continue to receive substantial updates during its first year. At launch, the new Call of Duty will include 18 multiplayer maps and two maps for the Zombies mode.
An updated version of “Nuketown” will be released on November 20. Across the first season, the game will also gain seven additional multiplayer maps and three more maps for Zombies.
Commenters beneath the announcement quip that if it weren’t for Battlefield 6, Activision would have handled the Black Ops 7 launch in a very different way.
