Internet Rumors Surface Regarding L.A. Noire Sequel Set in San Francisco Featuring Zodiac Killer

Discussion surrounding a potential *L.A. Noire* sequel as Rockstar Games’ next project gained traction online, though the claims stem from a weak premise.

A three-year-old post resurfaced and circulated as new information. The posts from a purported insider claimed that the second Noire game would be set in San Francisco in the 1960s and center on the Zodiac Killer, an unsolved real-life case. The project was allegedly in the early stages of development and scheduled to continue through 2030.

Following the reappearance of these claims, fans recalled recent comments from Strauss Zelnick stating that Take-Two is open to the possibility of expanding its detective series alongside any other franchise it owns.

Individuals spreading the rumor also pointed to the fact that the original poster accurately predicted certain details regarding GTA 6. Accurate predictions on one topic do not serve as proof that other claims are genuine, as users occasionally make correct guesses through assumptions.

Confirmation or a full debunking of these reports will only be possible once Rockstar Games announces its next project. For the next few years, the developer remains occupied with Grand Theft Auto VI, its online component, and the PC port.
