The issue weighs 1.25 kg. Given its multiple cover variants and the page counts of previous issues, some of which exceeded 500 pages, the publication may contain exclusive content beyond what has already been revealed.

New Facts

  • Ambrosia is inspired by Clewiston, known for its sugar industry, and Lake Okeechobee, on the shores of which the city is located.
  • The radio will feature political ads and topical talk shows. They will not reflect real-world politics and will instead use the traditional Grand Theft Auto style.

What the Creators Have to Say

Rob Nelson, Co-Studio Head and Head of Development at Rockstar North:

We hope people will want to escape into these worlds and these characters. To get lost with them and in them.

Rupert Humphries, Senior Vice President of Narrative:

There is a big focus on not just holding up a mirror, but on making everything satirical, larger than life, and more grotesque.

If you are going to put all this effort into creating a version of today’s world, it has to be more over the top, more insane, more in your face. Otherwise, you could just go outside and live in the real world.

James Horton, Open World Writing Director:

In a way, there is no ‘background’ in this game. There’s just foreground you’re not paying attention to right now.

Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern, Game Writer:

We wanted both protagonists to be vulnerable, tough, flawed, right sometimes, wrong sometimes, able to learn from each other. That’s what we felt made them authentic, and a great team.

Alexa D’Agostino, Game Writer:

When you are focusing on writing a fully realised person with their own wants, you’re going to get something perfectly imperfect—with clichés, but also undeniably real.
