Illinois boasts an incredibly diverse economic landscape, anchored by a rich heritage in manufacturing. It remains a primary hub for non-electrical machinery, specifically construction and industrial hardware, which stand as cornerstones of the state’s export economy.
We’ve meticulously crafted our map expansion to mirror real-world industrial trends. Players will encounter faithful representations of these sectors through both new corporate entities and specialized depots. For instance, you can haul heavy-duty equipment directly from the factory floor at Antlion in Peoria, delivering them to the GroundBreaker dealership in Quincy.
Waterfront enthusiasts are in for a treat as well. Given Lake Michigan’s role in local recreation, you will have the opportunity to transport pleasure craft to and from the new Aqua Vista marinas located in Marion and Chicago, as well as the long-standing Rock Port logistics facility in Peoria.
We have also recreated the bustling Chicago International Airport. This landmark hub features a highly detailed cargo terminal where you can load freight directly onto aircraft or manage jet fuel deliveries at the integrated refueling stations. For a unique experience, try driving your cargo right into the belly of a massive ULTIMUS transport plane!
Building on the subterranean logistics introduced in the Missouri DLC, Illinois takes the experience deeper. Navigate the expansive UnderCity storage complex in Chicago or visit a new branch of the familiar Terrastore company near Quincy.
Agriculture remains the backbone of the region, with approximately 75,000 farms occupying nearly 75% of the state’s land. Whether it’s soy, corn, or livestock, Illinois is a major global food provider. You will find custom farm depots scattered across Marion, Champaign, Rockford, and Effingham.
To support this, we’ve added Flavorfair grain elevators in East St. Louis and Quincy. These vital links in the supply chain ensure harvests are stored and transported efficiently. If you prefer heavier loads, don’t miss the quarries in Chicago and Rockford, or the timber operations near Marion.
