‘How to Train Your Dragon’ Star to Appear in ‘John Wick’ Spin-off
Mason Thames, best known for portraying Hiccup in the live-action adaptation of How to Train Your Dragon, has been cast in Caine, an upcoming spin-off of the John Wick franchise. Details regarding his specific role are currently being kept under wraps.
The film centers on the lethal blind assassin Caine, with Donnie Yen reprising his iconic role from John Wick: Chapter 4. In addition to starring, Yen will also serve as the project’s director. Production is currently underway under the Lionsgate banner.
Previously, it was announced that Dacre Montgomery, widely recognized for his performance in Stranger Things, had also joined the cast.
Set in the aftermath of John Wick: Chapter 4, the narrative follows Caine’s journey as he navigates his newfound freedom from the High Table. An official release date has yet to be scheduled.
