Attention, Generals!
We have just deployed a targeted hotfix (1.19.0.1) to resolve two specific issues currently impacting your experience:
- Stability Improvement: We’ve patched a crash involving Army HQ units, which was most frequently triggered during the chaotic four-way Spanish Civil War.
- Interface Fix: The TaoG DLC icon on the main menu will now correctly illuminate to reflect your owned content.
Both issues have been successfully addressed.
Regarding Crashes and Mods
Our telemetry indicates that the vast majority of ongoing stability issues are linked to the use of third-party modifications. If you encounter a crash while running a completely unmodded version of the game, please utilize the crash reporter tool to submit your logs so our team can investigate.
Balance and Stat Progression
We have heard your feedback regarding balance and the current state of stat inflation. Specifically, we are addressing an unintended interaction where the General Planning skill could reduce command ability costs to near zero. This was an oversight and will be corrected in the upcoming 1.19.1 update.
Upcoming Updates
Development is already underway for patches 1.19.1 and 1.19.2. We anticipate deploying 1.19.1 early next week, with 1.19.2 to follow shortly thereafter.
Patch Notes

- Resolved a crash-to-desktop (CTD) occurring when Army HQ units were destroyed under specific combat circumstances, such as those seen during the Spanish Civil War.
