Hiya Toys Unveils Starship Troopers Warrior Bug Figure

Hiya Toys has unveiled a new 1/12 scale Warrior Bug action figure based on the film Starship Troopers, scheduled to ship to collectors in the third quarter of 2027.

The collectible expands merchandise for the Starship Troopers universe, which has also spawned games such as Ultimate Bug War!, Starship Troopers: Terran Command, and Starship Troopers: Extermination.

Standing 13.5 cm tall, the figure recreates the Arachnid species with its broad head carapace, scythe-like forelimbs, powerful mandibles, segmented legs, and multi-layered dorsal armor.

Multiple articulation joints allow for dynamic poses. The black and dark brown carapace features vivid yellow stripes and crimson markings, supported by multi-layered paintwork designed to bring out surface depth and shell texture.
