Hit siege sandbox Besiege launches on mobile in November

Besiege is available on Steam, where it holds a “Very Positive” rating based on 46,000 player reviews.

The physics-driven sandbox Besiege, developed by Spiderling Studios, launched on PC via Steam in 2020 and has since amassed a 95% positive rating. It is now being prepared for release on iOS and Android devices.

Besiege’s gameplay blends straightforward mechanics with wide-open creative possibilities. Players assemble siege engines, tanks, helicopters and other contraptions from modular blocks—even mechanical dinosaurs—and then use them to crush enemy forces and demolish fortifications.

The mobile port is being handled by Playdigious, the studio responsible for bringing Dead Cells, Subnautica, Chants of Sennaar and other indie hits to smartphones.

The mobile edition will retain the core features: a 55-level single-player campaign, a sandbox mode, and tools to build and share your machines. The interface has been optimized for touch controls, and the release adds achievements plus controller support.

Besiege will follow a premium model, allowing players to try an introductory portion before purchasing the full game.

Pre-registration is already open on Google Play, and pre-orders are available on the App Store. The release is scheduled for November 18, 2025.
