Hilary Duff Embraces Authenticity and “Lucky Me” Tour Excitement

Hilary Duff is raising a glass to self-acceptance. During a candid conversation with Billboard’s Tetris Kelly behind the scenes at her Las Vegas residency, the pop icon shared her evolved perspective on life as she prepares to launch her highly anticipated “Lucky Me” tour, now officially partnered with Aperol Spritz.
Reflecting on her current journey, Duff shared a grounded philosophy: “If I were to toast to one thing, it would be toasting to becoming more of yourself rather than merely striving to be impressive. We are comfortable in our own skin, proud of our progress, and finding happiness in the present without constantly overextending ourselves to the point of exhaustion.”
The Lizzie McGuire star is currently riding a wave of professional momentum. Following the February release of her first album in ten years, Luck … or Something—which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200—she is ready to bring that energy to arenas nationwide this June.
Through her collaboration with Aperol, fans can expect curated “Aperol Spritz Day Club” pop-ups at select tour stops and local neighborhood venues. For Duff, the ultimate setting for a perfect spritz is a bustling New York City sidewalk cafe, capturing that fleeting, magical moment when the city shakes off the winter chill and finally begins to bloom.
She specifically highlighted her track “Adult Size Medium” as the musical embodiment of “golden hour” energy, citing the lyrics: “Was it a sip of wine or Aperol? / I remember everything and nothing at all.”
Looking ahead to the tour, Duff expressed deep gratitude for the connection she shares with her fanbase. “I’m most looking forward to seeing everyone show up for me,” she noted. “This era required a lot of courage. I’m a different version of myself than I was in the past, and it feels truly magical to experience this level of support again.”
