Actor Henry Cavill posted images from his training ahead of the film Highlander. The reboot of the beloved fantasy is scheduled for release in 2027.
Earlier reports indicated Cavill sustained a significant leg injury while shooting Highlander — the Man of Steel and The Witcher star injured his leg. Consequently, production was pushed back into 2026.
“Endure. In patience, grow strong,” Cavill captioned the workout photos he shared on his Instagram* (the social network is owned by Meta and has been labeled extremist and is banned in Russia).
Highlander will be directed by Chad Stahelski (John Wick). The cast has also been bolstered by Russell Crowe, Dave Bautista, Jeremy Irons and Karen Gillan.
