Paradox marked Steam’s 2026 Summer Sale with discounts of up to 80% across Hearts of Iron IV products. The June 25 announcement also covered Thunder at Our Gates, the game’s tenth anniversary and two merchandise collaborations. The Steam event ended on July 9, and current prices are listed in the store.

What “up to 80%” meant

The official post gave one maximum discount for the sale and linked to the Paradox promotion. It did not publish a complete product-by-product table in the announcement. The 80% figure therefore should not be applied to Thunder at Our Gates or every expansion. Steam’s checkout, regional pricing and dynamic bundle ownership determined the actual amount for each account.

Thunder at Our Gates had just launched

The theatre pack was released on June 11. It added national content for Australia, Siam and the Dutch East Indies, alongside Army HQ mechanics and other military changes delivered with the associated update. Paradox embedded the release video, livestream, anniversary presentation, teaser and soundtrack material so returning players could review the new expansion before buying.

Ten-year anniversary merchandise

The announcement also promoted an official anniversary collection produced with Print Clever, including hoodies, a bomber jacket, water bottle and mug. A separate Makeship campaign offered the Private Platypus plushie and the Once More Mate pin pack. Each campaign had its own stock and closing conditions and could end independently.

Summer Sale dates and current prices

Valve’s support page dates the Summer Sale from June 25 at 10:00 PDT to July 9 at 10:00 PDT. Hearts of Iron IV editions and downloadable content can be reorganised after an event, while patches can change expansion features. The current Steam DLC catalogue and Paradox product page are the correct sources for today’s contents and price.
