While the title might suggest otherwise, Harry Styles is anything but static in the vibrant new music video for his latest single, “Dance No More,” featured on his album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. The One Direction alum delivers an energetic performance from start to finish, punctuating his fluid choreography with a bold fashion choice: a pair of incredibly short red running shorts.
The video made its grand debut this Thursday (May 7) on YouTube. Following a playful countdown featuring those eye-catching red shorts darting across the screen, the visual opens with Styles strolling into a spacious room to meet his band. Without missing a beat, he launches into the track, fully committing to the rhythm while a captive audience—initially seated in rigid rows of plastic chairs—watches him with growing fascination.
As the track progresses, the singer’s magnetic, leg-focused dance moves seem to bewitch the onlookers, compelling them to abandon their seats and scramble toward him in a frantic bid to join the performance. Singing, “It’s feeling like the music has been heaven-sent / And that there’s no difference in between the tears and the sweat,” the scene shifts to a new venue. There, Styles and his entourage execute tight, synchronized routines before the energy explodes into a joyous, free-spirited rave.
“Dance No More” serves as the third official video from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, which hit the airwaves in March and enjoyed a dominant two-week run at the top of the Billboard 200. This follows the high-production visuals previously released for his Hot 100-topping hit, “Aperture,” and its follow-up, “American Girls.”
The Grammy-winning star is currently preparing for the kick-off of his highly anticipated Together, Together tour in less than two weeks. He is set to begin with a string of performances in Amsterdam, eventually embarking on a global run that includes exclusive mini-residencies in cultural hubs like London and New York City.
