Cardi B will no longer perform at BZR WKND Jamaica this month, her representative told Billboard on Thursday, Oct. 8.
The rapper was scheduled to perform on Oct. 18 as the headliner for BZR WKND Jamaica, a four-day festival celebrating music, culture, food, tourism, fashion and entertainment. The event was set to take place at Kingston’s National Stadium, the venue Vybz Kartel sold out for his post-incarceration comeback concert on New Year’s Eve 2024.
“Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026,” Cardi’s representatives stated to Billboard. “Cardi appreciates the love and support from her fans in Jamaica and hopes to see them in the future. For information regarding the status of BZR WKND Jamaica, ticketing, or other event-related matters, please contact the event organizers directly. Any information regarding Cardi B and her future performances will be communicated exclusively through Cardi B’s official channels.”
Event organizers did not respond to Billboard’s request for comment by press time.
On Sept. 28, Billboard reported that Grammy-nominated dancehall artist Spice will host this year’s BZR WKND Jamaica. The lineup also features Grammy-nominated R&B artist Keyshia Cole alongside dancehall acts Malie Donn, Ding Dong, Stalk Ashley, Shaneil Muir and DJ MAC.
Cardi’s scheduled appearance followed the Little Miss Drama Tour, which grossed over $70 million and sold 453,000 tickets between Feb. 11 and April 18, according to Billboard Boxscore. She launched the North American trek—her first proper tour in seven years—in support of her 2025 LP Am I the Drama?, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced Billboard Hot 100 top 40 hits including “Outside” at No. 10, the Kehlani-assisted “Ring” at No. 28 and “Magnet” at No. 37.
Cardi recently attended Gucci’s “The Store Show” presentation during Milan Fashion Week. Last month, she won her fifth career Moon Person for “Safe” in the best hip-hop category at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. Her 2026 awards season also includes three wins at the American Music Awards in May and the award for best female hip-hop artist at the BET Awards in June. She also confirmed to The Breakfast Club that she is working on her third album, which she anticipates releasing next year.
