GTA Creator Dan Houser Explained Why Bully 2 Never Came Out
Fans have been waiting for the return of the “GTA about school” for many years.
Recently, IGN spoke with Dan Houser at Los Angeles Comic Con 2025. During the interview they discussed the unrealized sequel to the high-profile title.
When asked why Bully 2 never materialized, the creator said Rockstar simply lacked the time and resources to take on another large-scale project:
“I think it ultimately came down to bandwidth. You know, if your core creative leads and leadership team are small, you just can’t pursue every project you’d like.”
