GTA 6 Might Have Been Teased in RDR 2
Data miners have recently unearthed hidden ship textures within the Red Dead Redemption 2 game files, revealing an intriguing discovery: a vessel named The Leonida. This name directly mirrors the fictional state where the events of Grand Theft Auto VI are set to unfold.
The motivation behind cutting this specific asset remains a mystery. It is possible that Rockstar Games chose to remove it to avoid leaving premature breadcrumbs regarding their next major title. Conversely, it is equally likely that the name was originally conceived for a minor detail in RDR 2 and was only later repurposed as the primary setting for GTA 6.
In addition to “The Leonida,” files for two other scrapped vessels were identified: The Emily Bell and Moses T Prescott. Unlike the first discovery, these names do not currently appear to hold any known significance within the Rockstar Games universe.
