Following last week’s official announcement, Rockstar Games has pulled back the curtain on the pricing structure for Grand Theft Auto VI. With pre-orders officially opening tomorrow, June 25, players finally have clarity on what to expect for both the base and premium editions of this highly anticipated title.
The standard edition of the game is set at a retail price of $79.99. For those looking for a more comprehensive experience, a $99.99 “Ultimate Edition” will be available. This premium bundle features an exclusive suite of in-game content, including specialized vehicles, weapon skins, and character apparel that weave throughout the narrative journey of protagonists Jason and Lucia.
Pre-orders will go live at midnight in your respective time zone. Digital early adopters can begin pre-loading their files on November 12, exactly one week before the game’s official global release on November 19. Notably, Rockstar has confirmed that physical copies will not include a disc; instead, the box will contain a digital redemption code, ensuring that physical edition owners can also take advantage of the pre-load window starting November 12.
As an added incentive, anyone who secures their copy of GTA VI before November 20 will unlock the “Vintage Vice City” pack. This collection celebrates the franchise’s neon-drenched roots with a variety of retro-themed items. Furthermore, customers who pre-order the digital version will be gifted one month of GTA+, granting them immediate access to a rotating catalog of Rockstar classics, exclusive GTA Online rewards, and other subscriber perks.
Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19. To get up to speed before launch, you can revisit the debut trailer, explore the follow-up footage, or brush up on our deep dives regarding the game’s expansive cast and the diverse districts of Vice City.
