Gothic 1 Remake – “publictesting” branch update

Unfortunately, our most recent hotfix triggered unexpected audio complications across all platforms. Please be assured that our team is fully aware of the situation and is prioritizing a permanent resolution to restore your experience.

In the interim, players on Steam have the option to roll back to our “publictesting” branch, which includes the following targeted improvements:

• Resolved an issue where audio channels were stacking incorrectly.
• Corrected a bug where player-centric sounds were being muffled by the audio occlusion system.

To switch to the testing branch, follow these steps:
Right-click the game in your Steam Library → Select Properties → Navigate to Betas → Select “publictesting” from the version dropdown menu.
