Gothic 1 Remake: Update 1.0.1 Has Arrived!
Greetings, Gothic community,
One week has passed since the launch of the Gothic 1 Remake, and the volume of feedback we’ve received has been truly remarkable. We want to extend our sincere gratitude for your continued support, detailed bug reports, and insightful suggestions. Your engagement is vital in helping us refine the experience and deliver the definitive version of this classic journey.
Today, we are deploying Patch 1.0.1, which introduces a comprehensive suite of fixes and performance enhancements.
We’ve heard your concerns regarding the new lockpicking mechanics, which many of you found overly difficult or unintuitive. To address this, we have implemented a new visual difficulty indicator, allowing you to gauge the challenge of a lock before you commit your tools to it.
To ensure we continue refining the game, please continue submitting your findings through our official bug-reporting portal. Every submission accelerates our ability to identify and resolve issues.
Important Note: Before applying this update, please ensure your game is free of any third-party modifications, as legacy mods may conflict with the latest build and cause unexpected stability issues.
Once you have installed the patch, verify that your game version is CL168781. You can confirm this build number in the Settings menu, located in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Thank you for sticking with us as we work tirelessly to ensure your return to the Colony is as immersive and polished as possible.
Best regards,
Alkimia Interactive
