Gothic 1 Remake developers improve save system and fix Xardas’ demon in hotfix 1.0.2
The development team responded to user feedback by resolving several reported issues.
Alkimia Interactive released a minor update for the Gothic 1 Remake. Hotfix 1.0.2 addresses bugs that caused crashes and blocked player progression.
The studio also refined the save system. They improved the logic behind save files and player profiles. Players can now recover existing save profiles that previously failed to appear in the game interface.
Other changes in the 1.0.2 hotfix include:
- Players can now interact with Xardas’s demon.
- A crash triggered by opening documents containing images no longer occurs.
- Idol Lukor now dies correctly in the Orc Cemetery.
- The game correctly identifies the perpetrator when players commit crimes using magic.
- Relations between characters in the Free Mine function as intended.
The developers have not announced a release date for the next update.
