Total War: Warhammer is getting 30 ‘Regiments of Renown’ to have fun builders Creative Assembly’s 30th birthday, and so they’ll be solely free.

Regiments of Renown are a Warhammer-esque spin on an idea that’s been frequent in earlier Total War video games: distinctive, elite variations of present items with a neat twist and a tough recruitment restrict, usually differentiated by a reskin. It’s just like the distinction between Coldstream Guards and unnamed Guards or Line Infantry from Empire: Total War.
