Games Workshop Announces New Warhammer 40,000 Ork Nob and Biker Miniature Sets

Warhammer 40,000 fans looking to expand their Ork armies will soon be able to add new miniatures featuring Nobs with custom smashas, grot orderlies, and Warbikes.

While the Warhammer 40,000 design team has already showcased miniatures for a Warboss, a Trukk, and Boyz, Games Workshop has more Ork fighters ready to reveal.

Today, the developers introduced a new box of Nobs packed with customization options, alongside a set of Ork Warbikers. Nobs form a classic part of any proper Ork army. They are brutal, scar-covered veterans who have survived years of combat. They are bigger, tougher, and meaner than regular Boyz, and they have access to heavy-duty gear.

The first set builds five Nobs armed with custom smashas, representing a close-combat weapon profile that covers all types of power blades, klaws, and clubs. Players can also deck them out with a pile of specialized equipment. The kit includes three grot orderlies who haul extra weapons and ammunition.

Ork Warbikes are the purest expression of Speed Freeks in the saddle: fast, loud, and packed with massive firepower. The new kit is an updated version of the classic unit featuring incredible detail on every motorcycle. Each bike sports a pair of linked dakkaguns, which are typically fired in long, uncontrolled bursts.

The recoil is strong enough to push the bike backward if the throttle were not held wide open at all times. A Nob on a Warbike also gains a unique upgrade by strapping rockets to their guns for destroying tanks on the move.

Ultimately, the bikers remain Orks, meaning they charge straight into close combat to crash down on enemies with their choppas, which become even deadlier thanks to the momentum of the charge. Both sets will soon be available for pre-order, with the Warbikers launching alongside Codex: Orks and the Nobs arriving shortly afterward.
