Game.Press shared a new batch of indie and strategy releases, with Sphere TD, ALEEF: Desktop Pet Collector, Staffer Retro and Crimson Tactics among the highlighted projects. The selection covers tower defense, desktop pets, mystery adventure and tactical role-playing games.

Sphere TD from Standard Issue Games builds tower defense around modular construction. Players do not place fixed towers only. They assemble weapons from parts and modifiers, including split, bounce, chain, pierce and multiply effects. According to the developers, the system supports more than one million build combinations.

ALEEF: Desktop Pet Collector by Samharia Studios takes a quieter route. Eggs hatch while the program runs in the background, and the player collects more than 300 pets. The game also includes upgrades, team battles and market support for collected creatures.

Staffer Retro: A Supernatural Mystery Quest focuses on dialogue, exploration and document clues. The player follows Mana through a supernatural case where small details in conversations and records matter more than direct action.

Crimson Tactics: The Rise of The White Banner moves into turn-based tactical RPG territory. Black March Studios describes the game as a medieval high-fantasy campaign with grid battles, party management and story-driven conflicts.

The four projects target different moods, but the common thread is clear mechanics. Sphere TD is about experimenting with tower builds, ALEEF is built around collection, Staffer Retro leans on deduction, and Crimson Tactics focuses on tactical encounters.
