Fortnite: $144 million raised for Ukraine in just 2 weeks

As the whole world discovers the sickening images of the city of Boutcha, Epic Games finalized its support operation for the Ukrainian people on Sunday evening. And no less than 144 million dollars were collected for humanitarian associations at the end of a two-week campaign launched 15 days ago at the same time as Season 2 of Chapter 3. We remind you that this is the turnover generated by the game which is entirely donated to the 5 charities which are UNICEF, DirectRelief, World Food Programme, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and World Central Kitchen. It should also be noted that Microsoft has also contributed to this effort, since the manufacturer has also disregarded its share of profits recorded over the same period, since it is recalled that each manufacturer (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Apple) recovers a percentage on each sale made on their online store, up to approximately 30%. Finally, we remind you that funds have already been sent from the start of the operation, the aim being to immediately support Ukraine, which is in need, and therefore not wait for the operation to complete. A very nice and wise decision by the way.
