Faraday Blues Combines Three Visual Novels and Card Strategy for a 2027 Release
Serenity Forge has announced Faraday Blues, a science-fiction adventure that combines visual-novel storytelling with strategic card play. Revealed during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show broadcast, it is planned for PC, Xbox and PlayStation in 2027.
The story follows a daughter searching for parents who do not know she exists. Exploring the Faraday family apartment reveals memories and character cards, which can be used to reset the timeline and revisit important events.
Decisions across three eras
The game contains three connected visual novels, each with its own time period and visual style. Choices in one story affect the others. Serenity Forge says the structure includes 64 endings and a hidden fourth timeline.
Rather than simply selecting dialogue, players use cards to influence characters and their decisions. Changing the circumstances of earlier events opens different perspectives on the family’s history.
Faraday Blues is co-created by director Zhenghua Yang and Satchely, the character artist known for Doki Doki Literature Club. The announced team also includes voice performer Nichole Goodnight and musician Kris Wilson.
A reveal trailer is available now. The announcement gives a release year but no exact launch date or console-generation breakdown.
