Fans Vote Madonna & Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Bring Your Love’ as Favorite New Music of the Week

“Bring Your Love,” the exhilarating new collaboration between icons Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter, has resoundingly secured the top spot in this week’s poll for the best new music.

Music fans cast their votes in a poll featured on Billboard this past Friday (May 1), overwhelmingly crowning this pop powerhouse team-up as their favorite release of the week.

The track triumphed during a highly competitive week, outpacing new offerings from Zara Larsson, Kacey Musgraves, and Bella Poarch, as well as the soundtrack to the blockbuster film The Devil Wears Prada 2. By the time voting concluded on Sunday, Madonna and Carpenter had secured a staggering 88.99% of the total tally.

Interestingly, the synergy between Madonna and the Devil Wears Prada franchise extended to the big screen over the weekend. Moviegoers were treated to a teaser for Madonna’s upcoming album, Confessions II, which played before screenings of the film. The promotional clip featured the Queen of Pop alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour, setting the stage for the album’s arrival on July 3.

But for now, the spotlight belongs to “Bring Your Love.” This duet is destined for the dancefloor, crafted perfectly to transport listeners into a state of rhythmic euphoria.

After debuting the song during a surprise guest appearance at Sabrina Carpenter’s Coachella set, the pair officially unveiled the studio version this past Friday. The release arrived with a vibrant visualizer that showcases the track’s lyrics in bold typography. Throughout the verses, both artists trade assertive lines, declaring, “Don’t comment on my ideas/ I don’t want your judgment or your expectations,” and, “Don’t rely on my moral compass/ Or my discretion, I have a confession.”

The defiant chorus echoes the sentiment: “Bring your love ’cause you cannot shake me/ Bring your love ’cause you’ll never break me/ Bring your love ’cause you cannot take me down.”

Madonna co-produced the track alongside her longtime creative partner Stuart Price. Price, who famously shaped her 2005 masterpiece Confessions on a Dance Floor, continues his tenure as the musical director for the star’s various tours.

Trailing “Bring Your Love” in the poll were Bella Poarch’s “Ribcage,” Zara Larsson’s Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, Kacey Musgraves’ Middle of Nowhere, and the The Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack. The sequel itself is currently dominating the box office, raking in a global total of $233.6 million in its opening weekend.
