Fallout 4 Released on Nintendo Switch 2 with 60 FPS and Decent Graphics

Bethesda has officially launched Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2. The title delivers a remarkably stable performance and visual fidelity that far exceeds initial expectations.

The Switch 2 version features three distinct performance presets: 60 FPS, 40 FPS, and 30 FPS. This allows players to prioritize either fluid gameplay or maximum image quality. Despite the hardware’s handheld nature, the environmental detail and character models are impressively sharp, earning glowing feedback from the first wave of console owners.

While the release arrived without the usual pre-launch benchmarks or media previews, the port has proven to be exceptionally polished. Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition serves as a comprehensive package, bundling the base game with all six major expansions: Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Nuka-World. Furthermore, the edition includes a massive library of over 150 Creation Club content pieces.
