Fallout 4 Anniversary Patch Fixes VATS Calculation Bug — Players No Longer Misled
The developers have addressed several bugs and integrated Creation Club mod content.
In celebration of the anniversary, Fallout 4 received an update and the Anniversary Edition was announced. The team resolved a long-standing issue with the VATS system.
From now on a fair calculation of hit percentages will be performed:
VATS hit chance is now consistent across all platforms and no longer drops to 0% or displays incorrect values. Targeting enemies through walls without the “Penetrator” perk is no longer possible.
The Fallout 4 team is also adding Creation Club content: a range of community mods, including pieces inspired by other Bethesda franchises.
They also added Tale of the Beast Hunter — you can don a new outfit, wield a special “revolver-shotgun,” and bring a slice of the Mojave to the Commonwealth with the “Bar” — a distinctive new player home inspired by the Strip.
