Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch 2

Following its successful debut on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC last November, Bethesda’s Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is finally preparing for its radioactive arrival on Nintendo’s next-generation hardware. During today’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, it was officially confirmed that the wait for portable wasteland survival is nearly over.

The definitive version of the acclaimed 2015 open-world RPG is set to launch on the Switch 2 on February 24. This comprehensive package includes the base game along with every post-launch expansion and a massive library of over 150 Creation Club items, offering the most complete Fallout experience ever seen on a handheld device.

While not an officially advertised feature, the Switch 2’s unique form factor might tempt the most dedicated vault dwellers to strap the console to their arm to mimic a real-life Pip-Boy. It certainly provides the ultimate immersion for V.A.T.S. enthusiasts, though we strongly advise against it—unless you’re prepared to explain a shattered screen to your local settlement’s repair shop.
