Developer Falcom and publisher refint/games have unveiled the opening trailer for the crossover fighting title Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, scheduled for release on October 10, 2025 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The boundaries between the Ys and Trails universes crumble in this encounter, bringing their heroes into direct conflict for the first time.
Fighters display a variety of skills, executing both iconic and brand-new moves. The narrative is fully voiced by actors from both franchises. Beyond the playable roster, additional characters will appear as supportive allies to turn the tide of battle.
The game offers HD and 4K visuals, up to 60 frames per second, local co-op and online modes, and English voiceovers. On PC, it supports keyboard and mouse controls, adjustable aspect ratios from 5:4 up to 21:9, and access to a Material Collection featuring wallpapers and soundtracks from various Falcom projects. The crossover promises a distinctive experience for fans of both series, marrying fast-paced fighting mechanics with deep RPG elements.
