Jessica Sutta Claims Political Leanings Led to Her Exclusion from Pussycat Dolls Reunion

While Carmit Bachar recently expressed confusion over her absence from the Pussycat Dolls’ latest chapter, her former bandmate Jessica Sutta is certain she knows the catalyst for her own exclusion. During a candid appearance on The Maverick Approach podcast, Sutta opened up to host Maverick Bailey about the political divide she believes cost her a spot in the group’s 2025 relaunch.
Sutta explicitly linked her dismissal to her public support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and her alignment with the MAGA movement. “I aligned with Bobby Kennedy, which is aligned with MAGA,” Sutta remarked, suggesting that management viewed her as a “liability.” She further critiqued the current three-person reunion tour, labeling it a “cash grab” and noting that her political awakening was born out of necessity rather than choice.
The singer’s shift in perspective follows a traumatic health journey. In a detailed interview with the Daily Mail earlier this year, Sutta described suffering a “debilitating” injury she attributes to a COVID-19 vaccination. This ordeal led her to champion RFK Jr.’s health policies and campaign for him during the 2024 U.S. election cycle. Despite the professional fallout and public scrutiny, Sutta remains steadfast in her convictions.
“People are screaming at me, ‘You’re MAGA, You’re MAGA,’” she shared during the podcast. “Yeah, I am MAGA. I triple down on it because I’m sick of people telling me who I should be.”
Sutta had previously addressed the group’s fractured state on Instagram, revealing she only learned of the tour plans moments before they were made public. While acknowledging the shock of the announcement, she maintained a dignified stance, concluding her message by saying she refuses to dwell on the past and wishing the remaining members success.
The controversy doesn’t stop with Sutta. Carmit Bachar, another cornerstone of the original lineup, also voiced her disappointment on social media after the group debuted their new single, “Club Song.” Bachar claimed she was never consulted about the decision to move forward without her, finding out the news alongside the general public.
The current iteration of the Pussycat Dolls features only Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts. While Bachar and Sutta—both of whom participated in the 2020 reunion attempt—have been vocal about their removal, Melody Thornton has remained silent, having distanced herself from the brand since 2010. For now, Sutta appears focused on her advocacy work and personal well-being, leaving the “Don’t Cha” era firmly in the rearview mirror.
