Everything We Know About Ariana Grande’s ‘Petal’ So Far

Ariana Grande Unveils Her Next Musical Chapter: Everything to Know About ‘Petal’

Ariana Grande is officially ready to cultivate a brand-new creative season.

The global pop icon took to Instagram this past Tuesday (April 28) to announce her highly anticipated eighth studio album, Petal. While the superstar previously joked that she would need “an extra brain and four more arms” to pull off a summer release, she has been dropping subtle clues for weeks—from cryptic flower emojis in her social media bios to candid glimpses of her time spent in the recording studio.

Given her relentless professional schedule, it is no surprise that managing a new record is a Herculean task. Having recently wrapped the Wicked film series with Wicked: For Good, Grande is now gearing up for the premiere of Focker-in-Law, the latest installment in the Meet the Parents franchise, arriving this Thanksgiving. Beyond the silver screen, she is set to make her West End debut in 2027 for a revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George, all while continuing to expand her thriving R.E.M. Beauty empire.

Petal serves as the successor to her 2024 chart-topping success, Eternal Sunshine, which produced massive hits like “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).” The new album arrives just as Grande prepares to embark on her upcoming tour, beginning June 8 in Oakland and concluding in London on September 1.

Below, we have compiled everything you need to know about the upcoming release.
