A segment of the player base is already growing weary of the unrelenting winter landscape currently gripping Tarkov.
The developers behind Escape from Tarkov have issued a reminder regarding the ongoing “Freezing Cold” winter event. The seasonal festivities are scheduled to conclude on January 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM MSK.
Once the event window closes, all associated achievements and specialized quest chains will no longer be available for completion or collection.
To successfully fulfill the “Freezing Cold” objective, PMC operators must manage to survive and extract from several different locations while specifically afflicted by the “Frozen” status effect.
Furthermore, Battlestate Games pointed out that the festive “Christmas Tree” Hideout module will remain operational for players until January 19, 12:00 PM MSK.
