As talked about of their blog post, it’s taking place on the Monday of the present, kicking it off for all concerned. At 18:30 native time (17:30 BST, 12:30 EDT, 9:30 PDT) they’ll run a present that includes “new gameplay, live matches, and a few surprises as well.”

While stay matches terrifies me to my core – never forget – surprises are good. This may very well be something from new Battlefront II characters to precise new video games. As a lot as that 2013 clip offers me flashbacks, Germany is the place you’d exhibit one thing new for C&C, a franchise that has gone utterly darkish for EA of-late. They’re additionally growing their indie-ish output with issues like A Way Out – extra of that will be very welcome.

Here’s the video games attendees will be capable of go hands-on with, per the publish:

• Star Wars Battlefront II
• Need for Speed Payback
• FIFA 18
• Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar
• Various cellular video games

Obviously, none of that’s new, and in reality all of them had been playable at E3 final month. Whether this shall be completely different builds or not we don’t know, however it might be unusual to have a full press convention, hands-on time and all these influencers they’re bringing it simply for a similar stuff they confirmed in LA. They additionally promise deeper dives throughout the present itself at their sales space.

Conspicuously absent from all that is Anthem, Bioware’s subsequent undertaking and all-round Iron Man simulator. Rumour had it that extra gameplay could be on present in Cologne, however no official affirmation. We’ve reached out to EA to seek out out if they’ve any plans.

The livestream of the convention will obtainable on EA.com, and sure by their YouTube and Twitch channels as effectively.
