In early July, while putting the finishing touches on what would become one of 2025’s most talked-about albums, Justin Bieber turned to the comedian in the room and asked, “Why wouldn’t you be my therapist?” That offhand question came as they recorded a trio of conversational skits that now thread through the record SWAG.
The album’s R&B-leaning direction marked a deliberate, grown-up pivot for Bieber, and he leaned on Druski’s wide-ranging voice and comic instincts to help frame the transition. “He wanted a way to address the questions the media and public kept asking, and he wanted to do it with humor,” Druski explains. “He played the album for us, and then we recorded uninterrupted conversations between songs — just one take, talking about what’s been happening in his life.”
Between Super Bowl ads for Dunkin’ and high-profile cameos on major releases, Druski emerged as one of 2025’s most visible cultural figures — and his influence is being felt across entertainment and pop culture.
Comedian and social superstar Druski will host the Billboard 2025 No. 1s Livestream on Tuesday, Dec. 9, beginning at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT, where he’ll be joined by surprise guests to announce the year’s biggest chart-toppers. Watch here.
