Dracula, Superman, and Spider-Man Join Black Ops 7 in Newest Crossover
While Activision has publicly distanced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from the more eccentric cosmetic trends, that design philosophy clearly hasn’t reached Black Ops 7. The upcoming Season 4 Reloaded update is set to deliver a wild crossover event, effectively introducing cinematic icons like Dracula, Superman, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, and even a menacing serial killer to the battlefield.
The common denominator behind this star-studded lineup is none other than Nicolas Cage. The legendary Hollywood actor has breathed life into each of these archetypes—from his turn as the titular vampire in Renfield and his superhero cameos in the DC and Marvel cinematic universes, to his chilling performance in Longlegs. Cage arrives in Black Ops 7 as part of the new event pass launching on Thursday, June 25.

To secure his default operator skin—which features a tactical, all-black ensemble complete with a bulletproof vest—players will need to invest in the premium event pass track. Those who grind through the entire pass will unlock the “Unlimited” variant, showcasing a more dramatic look with flowing locks and a striking crimson snakeskin jacket.
Cage is the latest in a growing list of celebrity cameos in Black Ops 7, following the arrival of Terry Crews in Season 3 and the Fallout-inspired operator skins from Season 1. While these additions are certainly flashy, they seem somewhat grounded when compared to the absolute chaos of Black Ops 6, which saw icons like Roger from American Dad duking it out with Donatello of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Beyond the operator skins, the Cage-themed event bundle includes an animated calling card, three distinct weapon blueprints, a unique emote, and a custom finishing move. Free-to-play participants won’t be left empty-handed, as the update also introduces the AN-94 primary rifle and the “Executioner’s Duet” melee weapon to the standard track.

Additionally, fans of the classic Black Ops experience have reason to celebrate: the fan-favorite Black Ops Classic playlist is becoming a permanent fixture in the game, allowing players to jump into the minimalist, stripped-back mode whenever they desire.
