*Billboard’s* Friday Music Guide highlights the essential new music releases of the week. Last week featured LISA, Miley, Kacey Musgraves, and John Mayer. This week brings Dominic Fike’s first album as a hitmaker, a digital deluxe edition of Mariah Carey’s *Glitter*, and Queens of the Stone Age’s ninth album.

Queens of the Stone Age, Perfecth

Queens of the Stone Age return with their ninth album, *Perfecth*. The record tones down the volume and heavy riffs of previous work in favor of tracks like the ’70s AM boogie song “Insginificant Other” and the acoustic shuffle “Easy Street,” alongside heavier numbers such as the advance single “Where the Goth Girls At?” and the strutter “Sunday.”
