Operation Augur drops you into a high-stakes, sector-by-sector conflict where you must pledge allegiance to either the NATO Battalion or the steadfast defenders of Pax Armata. The core objective is simple yet grueling: NATO forces must systematically seize control points held by the defending Pax Armata to secure dominance over the battlefield.
Stage One: Contaminated
The first phase of the operation, “Contaminated,” unfolds across five diverse sectors:
- HAMLET: This initial skirmish centers on a singular, trench-fortified homestead. Both factions have access to light ground transports and quad bikes to navigate the dirt tracks, while NATO attackers gain the tactical advantage of an LTV and an Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
- MAINTENANCE HANGAR: Here, the deployment of VL-7 Smoke creates dense, chaotic visibility conditions. Combat follows a linear progression: NATO must first secure the trenches at Objective A before mounting a decisive assault on the Hangar at Objective B.
- RAMP/APRON: Success requires a strategic approach. While capturing the Ramp (A) is the natural precursor to the Apron (B), the latter is heavily fortified with guard towers. Smart squads will forgo a single-lane approach in favor of a pincer movement, pushing simultaneously from their headquarters and the previously captured Ramp.
- HAGENTAL BASE ENTRANCE: The final Contaminated sector is a multi-level gauntlet. With various hangar entries and climbable bunker rooftops, verticality is your greatest asset. Controlling the high ground is essential to avoid being pinned down by crossfire.
Stage Two: Hagental Base
The final phase, “Hagental Base,” pushes combatants into four intense, close-quarters environments:
- EMERGENCY GENERATORS: You are tasked with capturing two objectives: one near your base (A) and another within the Maintenance Area (B). Because vehicle access is restricted in these tunnels, expect brutal infantry warfare and ensure your loadouts are optimized for tight, corridor-heavy engagements.
- CENTRAL TUNNEL: Emerging from the Maintenance sector, attackers face a critical choice: attempt a direct breach or utilize the West Tunnel for a flanking maneuver. Long-range weaponry proves highly effective for those pushing north from these side channels.
- DEPOT: The combat escalates atop the high-reaching catwalks. This sector is a breeding ground for chaos, requiring teams to maintain vigilant control over two primary flank routes branching from the sprawling East and South tunnels.
- SERVER: The climax of the operation pits you against the defenders across two final objectives. Success hinges on destructive mobility—breach every wall and structural barrier to create new lanes of attack. In these cramped, high-pressure environments, close-quarters combat mastery is non-negotiable.
Deployment begins April 14.
