Dolly Parton has a uniquely playful request for newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce following their incredibly generous contribution to her literacy program.
In anticipation of their wedding, the power couple donated a remarkable $2 million to Parton’s Imagination Library. The country music legend responded with a heartfelt video message, expressing her genuine gratitude before lightheartedly asking if she might be able to adopt their future firstborn child.
“Taylor and Travis, it’s Dolly,” she said in the shared message. “I was absolutely stunned and overjoyed to hear about your $2 million donation to my Imagination Library. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such an incredible gift.”
She continued with a laugh, “It’s clear that giving back is a core value for both of you. So, here’s a question: when you eventually have your first child, could I have them? I imagine that’s going to be one truly remarkable baby.”
Parton took a moment to reflect on the core mission of the Dollywood Foundation—which centers on dreaming, caring, and learning—and noted that the couple’s substantial donation will empower the organization to expand its reach significantly.
“Thank you both, and please know that I will always love you,” she added, treating fans to a brief, sweet rendition of her iconic 1974 ballad.
This donation was part of a larger, sweeping philanthropic initiative undertaken by Swift and Kelce to honor their marriage. The pair collectively gifted $26 million to various charitable foundations across the country, spanning cities like New York, Kansas City, and Rhode Island, while also supporting national stalwarts such as Feeding America and the ASPCA.
The couple officially exchanged vows on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden. Following two years of dating, they announced their engagement in August 2025. Their wedding was a high-profile affair, featuring bespoke Christian Dior couture and a guest list that included a heartfelt turn by Adam Sandler, who presided over the ceremony.
