Dolly Parton Expresses Heartfelt Gratitude for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Massive Donation

Country music legend Dolly Parton has publicly shared her appreciation for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce following a transformative act of philanthropy.
The icon took to Instagram this past Friday to acknowledge the power couple for their generous $2 million contribution to her “Imagination Library.” The initiative, a cause close to Parton’s heart, provides complimentary books to children to foster early literacy and a lifelong love of reading.
In the lead-up to their wedding festivities over the Fourth of July weekend, Swift and Kelce committed an impressive $26 million to a variety of American charitable organizations. Beyond the Imagination Library, their philanthropic efforts are supporting the Grammy Museum Foundation, New York Cares, and the Kansas City-based Harvesters community food network.
“Taylor and Travis, it’s Dolly,” the singer said in a warm video address to the couple. “I was absolutely stunned to hear about your $2 million gift to my Imagination Library. Thank you so much—I am truly overwhelmed and deeply touched by your generosity.”
Parton continued with her signature charm: “It’s clear that giving back is a core value in your lives. And hey—when you two have your first child, call me! I’d love to be the one to claim that special baby.”
Reflecting on her foundation’s mission to encourage children to “dream more, care more, learn more, and be more,” Parton emphasized that the couple’s donation will significantly amplify the program’s reach and impact. She concluded the message with a graceful, spontaneous nod to her classic hit, “I Will Always Love You.”
The couple’s total $26 million in donations includes support for institutions in their hometowns of Reading, Pennsylvania, and Cleveland, as well as the cities where they have cultivated their respective careers, Nashville and Kansas City. A series of contributions was also directed toward New York City charities to coincide with their wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden.
